CLEMENS Sells Drugs and Books FRIDAY NIGHT FOR SOLDIERS Plans are completed for the com munity's reception to returned sol diers and sailors, Friday night of this week at 8 o'clock, at the county courthouse. There will be no for mality to the entertainment, but the people will be given an opportunity to mix and personally show their appreciation for the splendid record Josephine county has made In the war. An orchestra will furnish music for those who care to dance, and from time to time everyone will be asked to join in singing popular songs. This singing will be under the leadership ot competent direct ors and leaders. In the basement , luncheon will be served. 1 No charges for anything will be' made to soldiers or sailors and their mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, I wives or lady friends. The recep-: tion committee will meet everyone at the front door and pin badges on , everyone who Is a guest of the I evening. The public will have to give the committee some assistance . in this matter. During the evening the reception committee will circu late about the building and endeavor , to find everyone entitled to a badge of honor. If you happen to be over looked, make yourself known' to a member of this committee.
