AT THE .MOVIES An Aireclation of "My Cousin" The following letter which was received by the Famous flayers Co., producers of "My Cousin" is only one of the hundreds of letters of congratulation that poured in. Washington, Nov. 26, 1918. Mr. Jerome Ileatty, Care Famous Players' Co., 485 Fifth Ave., New York City. , My Dear Mr. Beatty: I want to thank you for your kindness In per mitting the National Press crua to show for the first time before anyj audience Knrlco Caruso's wonderful film, "My Cousin." Three hours before the show started the auditorium of the Press club was full and we had to stand people up from that time on. Some of Washington's most representative citizens were present, and I know that it would have done you good to have seen Dr. Harvey Wiley enjoying the picture. He certain was keen ly interested In it. Representative La Guardla, the congressman who baa just returned from fighting In Italy, was another guest of the even ing. Of the picture Itself, I cannot speak in words of too high praise. Caruso's acting Is wonderful, prov ing conclusively to my mind that he has a future before htm in silent drama that will equal, If not surpass, hia wonderful past in grand opera. I never have seen a better filmed pic ture.
