Beuttle, Wash., Nov. 1. When
one can scorn an easy bullseye on
flying flMh, shooting from a launch
that rolls and pitches In the Pacific,
ono Ik qualified to expect success tn
downing llocho aviators.
Such is the belief of Nathan H.
Malloy, of Honolulu, who has come
hero to enllMt In the aviation corps.
Malloy Is the son of a Honolulu sea
captain. Ho spent much of his boy
hood In tho novel sport of shooting
flying fish off Diamond Head, near
the entrance to Honolulu harbor.
IIo Kiild the sport was far more ex
citing than shooting quail or other
wild fowl, and the skill acquired af
ter long practice, he believes, will
stand him In need when he mounts
aloft In an airplane to tackle the
German flyer.
