the Spanish sailing vessel Joaqulma
reports his ship which sailed from
Cuba, 'was held up by a submarine
which declined to examine the ship's
papers. ' The vessel was sunk and the
crew was afloat tor five days, being
rescued off the coast of Africa. The
vessel which picked them up landed
them all at Gibraltar except the captain.
