P. Morgan was operated on for appendicitis at his home at noon today, accord ing to announcement from his office. The operation was successful and Morgan Is now resting comfortably ; tlnee at 2:30 Saturday at his Glencove, L. I., home. His! physicians expect a perfect recovery. The statement said: "Mr. Morgan was at his office Wed nesday. Yesterday he was Indis posed and remained at his home In Glencove. Physicians discovered he was suffering from a mild attack of appendicitis. In order to guard agalnBt a recurrence, it was decided to remove his appendix. The opera tion was performed by Doctors Mar koe, Lyle and Smith. His general condition Is excellent."
