The fore part of the evening was taken up by a well reudered pro gram, after which the baskets were auc tioned off to the highest bidder. Children's Iav eiercises were held in the Congregational church last Sunday evening. The program was well ren dered, the exercises by the smaller children being particuarly interesting. It is almost unnecessary to say that a packed house listened attentively to the entire program. Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Cudy and family attended the Flower-llill wedding in Portland last Wednesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. YanVoorheea of Port land took dinner with Miss Lois Yin- cent on last Thursday. Mrs. L. II.
