RECEIVED from the Secretary mnsuoru
Doartl of Trade, 12000 lettera from Eastern people in
quiring about Oregon.
I agree to 8end to every one of these addressea a
copy of tbe 4-page special Ilillsboro supplement as
contained in last issues of the Independent and Argus.
As a booster this literature will be most effective,
and all repliea and inquiries relative to same will re
ceive attention.
This method of procedure will centre the Interest
of these 12000 inquirers in our community.
The above will be undertaken entirely at our own
expense.
That will cost us a pretty penny.
How is that as a starter for Washington County
publicity?
Does it look like business?
