to operate on Mrs. George Alnsley
for appendicitis. She never fully
recovered from the operation and
died at two p'clock the next morn
ing. Mrs. Alnsley was married only
three months ago and had just
returned from a trip through Europe.

so many people are at the coast that
somebody had to lay off and as he
was the last man on the force he was
compelled lo retire until business
picked up again.
The Hillsboro Farmlngton base
ball game last Sunday was excitlog
and the official score was 10 to 11 In

little off for the game was really a
tie. Next Sunday the same nines

Mrs. T.C. Arns, of Phillips, died
at Newport last Saturday evening.
Mr. and Mrs.'Arns were at Newport

bathing and the cold water was too
much for her delicate condition. She
was a school teacher of this county.
Her body wss taken east to her
former home for burial.
