wearied. On Tuesday morning his
wife thought lo indulge him in au
extra nap. Ho be did not get np al
(he usual hour, but al ti o'cl.H-k his
wire arroused him with ihe Informa
tion ibat somt thing was burning.
He glanced out at Ihe window aud
saw hi ham in dimes. He ran out
and with au ax cut the tethers of two
horses so that they escaped, but two
others were where he could not reach
them. They were buruid. Iu ad
dition he lost three seta or harness,
all his hay aud oafs together with
burn furniture. His wagon was left
in the yard Ihe night before, anil
was saved. The loss will root up
four or five hundred dollars. The
origin td the fire is thought to tie in
cendiary. I have takeu up at my place, a
black sow; same haa four while reel
and white spi t in front or left shoul-
lei; no ear mark or olher brand visi
ble: weighs about 200 pounds. Owner
can have same by paying charges.
