Some time ago mention was made
of a new Hour-making machine
which the Climax Milling Company
had ordered. The machine has been
received and installed. Nothing has
b 'fore been said of it for the reason
it was desired to see what it will do.
It has now been in use over a month
and its merits thoroughly tested. It
is found that a better grade of flour
is made, a larger yield is obtained
and a larger output is possible for a
given time. These three things
commend tho new scroll machine.
It seems to lie a perfect device, for the
soft wheat of the Willamette valley
and it is probable that it will not bo
long before all the mills tn the valley
