The plan which Is to be followed Is to bring about co-ordination of efTort on the part of every agency engaged tn securing farm lnpor. At u meeting held In Kansas City recently, which was the first o f a series planner! by the department of ngrlculture, a com mittee was appointed to formulate plans and policies for the organization of the various forces In the stute so that the needs of the farmers may be met In an adequate way. It Is recognized that many men now In offices, stores and hanks and en gaged In other city work would In their present condition he unable to go Into the fields and withstand se vere inbor. It was therefore proposed and arrangements were made at the Kansas City conference for nil such men who register for farm work to take a special course In training under the direction of the Kansas City Ath letlc club. This kind of rough tnlk will be heard le u here in town If people troubled with corns will follow the simple advice of this Cincinnati authority, who claims that a few drops of a drug called freezone when applied to a tender, aching corn or hardened callous stops soreness at once, and soon the corn or callous dries up and lifts right off without pain. He says freezone dries Immediately and never inflames or even irritates the surrounding skin. A small bottle of freezone will cost very little at any drug store, but will positively remove every bard or soft corn or callous from one’s fe et Millions of America’s women will welcome this announce ment since the Inauguration of the high heels. This Is par ticularly so during the late summer and fall months. Along about the first of August grain crops are started mov ing and millions of bushels o f whent are offered to the railroads. With wheat nnd the winter stock of coal to cqrry the roads nre usually swamped. There Is a shortage of rolling stock nnd consequent congestion. This freight congestion can he re lieved In n great measure by milling the whent at home nnd thousands of freight cars diverted to the transporta tion o f other necessary commodities. Incidentally It would relieve us of the cost o f carrying, the worry o f chang ing prices, commissions, etc. Every community needs a flour mill.
