the State Council of Defense, un­
der whose auspices the Confer­
ence is being held, for the pur­
pose of conveying important mes­
sages direct from the war depart­
ment to the men who soon will be'
in training.
Captain Harry E Williams, who
was for many years with the Ore­
gon National Guard, recently on
duty at Camp Lewis, and now a
Company Commander in the Ore­
gon Military Police, will he one of
the speakers. Captain Williams
will tell of some things that the
men will experience upon arrival
at the training camp and his talk
will prove helpful as well as inter­
esting to those who hear him.
