The annual Inter-Class Field
Meet was held Monday afternoon,
April 17th. The weather was very
unfavorable for making any high
records yet in some events last
year’s records were surpassed. The
Sophomores were easily the win­
ners of the day, having won a
total of 77 points out of the 129
points made by all classes. The
Freshmen came next with a total
of 21 points; the Juniors were next
with 19 points and the Seniors
last with 12 points. Lucas was
the high-point man with 29 points
and Wilcox was second with 16
points to his credit. The sensa­
tion of the day was the thrills
featured in the “ dark horses” en­
tering in a number of the events.
