“ I see you are trying to instill
in your readers the spirit of home

days ago, “ Well, there is no
better work for a newspaper and

visited Oregon City, which, but a
few months ago, was one of the
dullest towns of its size in the
state. Hut things are changing
now and Oregon C ity promises to
be known from one end of the
state to the other as a ‘ live one.’
