A city far famed as an educational and religious center, and known as the “ prettiest town in Oregon,” it seems to us that it is truly an ideal location for an annual chautauqua gathering. s It is to he hoped that the respectable Portland papers succeed in their endeavor to either sub due or suppress the Portland News.
