Already th e postmaster general is figuring on reducing parcel post rates and raising the weight and size limit of packages. The law affords the widest scope for discretion by the postmaster general. He may do anything necessary to make the scheme work. Hitchcock has called for a state ment based on the first half month’s working of the parcel post lawr, and expects to revise ¡the rates and weights almost im mediately.
