The Southern Pacific is bal
lasting its new track as rap
idly as possible. Sunday a pair
of trucks under a gravel dump
ran off the rails on A street,
causing a delay of about two
hours before they could be
placed back on the track.
The Maximum class of the
Methodist church held an ‘‘ex
change m eeting” in the parson
age last Friday evening. Every
one who attended brought some
unfinished article which was
exchanged for another and the
various pieces were then com
pleted by the different members.
Several pleasant and amusing
hours were passed.
