iff, has filed his intention to be­
come a candidate for sheriff, be­
fore the nominating convention.
Prof. 0. M. Gardner, superin­
tendent of the Forest Grove city
schools, is being urged by many
citizens to permit his name to be
presented on the primary nomin­
ating ballot for county school su­
perintendent. Prof. Gardner is
an educational pusher.
