The children and parents have done well their part in gathering material for the “ Baby Home” and “ Boys and Girls Aid” of Portland. Almost a ton of ma­ terial was sent o f which a follow­ ing is a part: 180 qts. canned fruit, 3 sacks o f potatoes, 5 box­ es o f apples, 30 gal. o f kraut, 2o glasses o f jelly, several sacks of pumpkins and squashes.
