Mr. Bennett was mar-j ried February 5, 1855, in Fairfax county, Virginia, to Miss Sarah j A. Crocker. He came with his | family to Oregon 26 years ago, locating first at Portland, where he remained five years, thence moving to Thatcher. He is sur­ vived by his widow and three children, F. A. and Benjamin Bennett and Mrs. Sadie Haydon o f Thatcher. Funeral services were held Sunday, Rev. Barber officiating, with burial in the Union cemetery.
