Everybody is in good spirits
since the rain began. Oregon­
ians can put up with a great deal
o f precipitation in form of rain
but give them very little in the
line of snow.
The meetings which have been
in progress, at the Evangelical
church for past few weeks, have
been well attended and proved a
success in every respect, the re­
sult being several new members.
Rev. Father Buck, o f Forest
Grove, was in Gaston last week,
looking after a location for the
Catholic church, wnich is located
at Gales. It is not known what
conclusion he arrived at in re­
gard to the move.

Congregational church last week,
