SLY OLD CUPID CAUGHT
PAY DAY AT P. C. C. DELAYED
Forest Grove Man Tripped up Over Inability of Clearing House to Sign
and a couple of bottles of rock and rye,
a young German, Otto Hensky by
name within whom the rock and rye
had found lodgment, were the cause
of it all. Young Hensky, who has
been working about Dilley for several
months and recently staving with
James Bryan, went to Hillsboro and
spent some of his hard earned cash for
two bottles of booze, and returned to
Dilley. He did not unload the bot
tles until arriving at his destination but
after arriving there took on such a
heavy load that his once peaceful na
ture changed into a man craving for
the rough. So he went up to his un
cles, August Legall, shouted around a
considerable and broke some window
panes.
Sleeping Dilley was aroused
and the authorities at Hillsboro notified.
Sheriff Connell and Deputy Kane came
up immediately and it was with no
little difficulty that the bold, bad man
was lodged in the rig and transported
to the county bastile at Hillsboro
where he is now awaiting a prelimi
nary trial.
