Trixie can count the number of persons in any given row of seats and tell how many ladies and how many gentlemen it contains. There is also a trained elk which ascends a high precipice and leaps thirty feet into a basin of water. When you “ Hit the Trail” don’t pass Trixie by, you’ll miss a good show if you do. Another legitimate and instructive show on the Trail is the wonderful railroad journey from Moscow to St. Petersburg, Russia. Seemingly no amount of money has been spared to make this show a truly wonderful spec tacle. You enter a regular railroad coach and take a seat. The train starts with all the reality possible and the scenery seen from the coach win dows is superb. You leave St. Peters- berg and travel through beautiful scenery, cross the Siberian desert and experience a snowstorm before reach ing Port Arthui— for a time the seat of the Russo-Japanese war, and then on to Moscow. The scenery is said to be accurate, in every detail. John Prickett is logging for the Davis Bros. Co., and C. E. and Willie Prickett are hauling lumber. i Q. B.
