Ramsey, who graduated a few years ago from the university, lias recently been appointed pastor of the St. Stephen Episcopal church in Portland. Mr. Ramsey studied at San Mateo, Cal. and also at the University of California, winning the degree of Master of Arts. From there he went to Columbia University, N. Y. where he took a two year's course and was awarded a fellowship to pursue his studies in Germany. H e then took charge of the Protestant Episcopal church at R om e, Italy. On his return to America, Bishop Morris gave him the Portland charge. H is many friends here rejoice at his success. Married.
