Daly’ s Comedians opened a five
nights engagement at Verts Hall last
evening with a crowded house, in fact
the largest audience that has been
seen in the hall for many months.
Their entertainment was first-class con
sidering the small admittance charged
at the door, and was clean and up-to-
date. The lady impersonater is with
out an exception the best that has vis
ited our city, while the black face
comedian kept the house in a contin
ual uproar with his jokes and ready
wit. Little Nita, as a song and dance

Found Dead in Bed
Mrs. E. D. Thomas aged 74 years,
an old and respected resident of For
est Grove, was found dead in bed last
night by neighbors. She lived alone
part of the time and during the school
year she kept student roomers. Tues

evening not having see i her during
the day and their rooms not being
cared for, the students becam e anx

neighbor lady and informed her of the
situation. An investigation was at

locked. Mrs. Thomas was found ly
ing as if in a peaceful sleep. Dr.
Large the coroner, and - Dr. Bishop
made an examination and found that
she had probably died shortly after re
tiring Tuesday
evening, and that
heart failure was the cause of death.
