horse w as crossin g a heap o f gra v el, be­
ca m e frigh ten ed and started to run and
a w h eel broke dow n.

dropp ed his w ife and ch ild out safely
but as a fter 250 yard s he found h im self
u n ab le to control th e anim al he ju m p ed
and rolled about 20 feet, but w as unhurt.
Mr. A ch iso n w as h o ld in g a pail o f b u tter­
m ilk and it w as lost.
