Eagle Creek

They grow ’em big in
Eagle
Creek!
Most of Eagle Creek’s
recent newborn babies have been
little heavy-weights. The newest
arrival to set the record is on 11
lb. 10 oz. baby boy
who
first
greeted the world last Sunday ev­
ening. Dec. 7 at Emmanuel Hos­
pital. Proud parents of this latest
contender are Mr. and Mrs. Hans
La1 nsch. The Lensohes have six
girls, ranging from a small todd­
ler to two high school graduates,
and one older boy who is now in
the U.S. Marines. They have long
awaited the addition of a second
boy to the family circle.
An 11 lb. 2 oz. baby boy
was
born to Mr. and Mrs. Billy Wy-
more (Patty Clevinger,) of Eagle
Creek, on Tuesday A. M., Dec. 2.
The husky newcomer,
named
Richard Martin,
their
second
child.
Grandparents are
Mr.
and Mrs. Harry Clevinger
and
Mr and Mrs. Willard Wymore, ot
Barton.
Great -grandmothers
are Mrs. Lavina Wymore of Port­
land and Mrs. Dorma Rouse,
of
Ft. Collins, Colo.
Fifteen members of Bethel No.
54 of Jobs Daughters
attended
Eagle Cree Church as an official
go-to-church visit last
Sunday.
That afternoon the girls went on
a bowling and skating party.
Sam Olmstead returned home
from the hospital last Thursday,
and is reported feeling much bet­
ter.

Last Saturday Mrs. Olmstead
entertained Mrs. Ethel Reha at
luncheon. Mrs. Reha is now liv­
ing at 4407 S. E. Yamhill St., in
Portand, having sold her
home
here.
A recent visitor ol the Lonnie
Smiths was Ike Akers of Cathla-
met, Wash., a one- time local re­
sident. He was accompanied
by
his brother in law .Elmer Stone
of Clackamas.
On Wednesday P.M. of last week
