Here Are The Simple Ruies-
The area w ill be divided into two districts to facilitate fairness
in awarding prizes.All workers living in Estacada will be in Dis
trict One, and all workers living outside the city limits w ill be in
District Two. Workers are allowed to get subscriptions from
any one in either district, or at any address.
The worker in each district finishing the campaign with the
most votes in his own district will receive a District Capital Prize.
Other prizes w ill be awarded to the next highest workers in any
district by choice.

Workers not receiveing awards w ill get cash commissions of
15 percent of all money they have handed in fo r subscriptions
during the three weeks. A 20c “ Milkshake” Bonus will be given
on each new subscription handed in during the campaign and will
be payable at the time the subscription is turned in at the office.

No employee or near relative of any employee ot the News is
eligible to enter the campaign.Correspondents families w ill be al
lowed to compete. Children under 16 years must have written
consent of parents or guardian, who w ill be expected
to
help
their candidates.
In event of a tie each tying candidate will be given prizes iden
tical in value.
A bonus of 2000 votes w ill be given each candidate turning in
3 or more subscriptions (either old or new) on the opening day
of the campaign, and an additional 3,000 extra votes will be given
to the candidate turning in the most subscriptions. These same
bonus votes w ill be given for the report days of Wednesday, Nov.
26, Saturday, Nov. 29 and Wed., December 3.
To insure absolute fairness the campaign will be brought to a
close under the sealed ballot box system.

money collected the last three days of the campaign must be in
the sealed box when the campaign ends.
Wednesdays and Saturdays w ill be known as report days and all
candidates are positively required to hand in all their subscrip
tions on each report day, at least two each report day to be con
sidered active.
Votes will be issued on both new and old subscriptions. Credit
