I crest has enjoyed an exceeding-
ly good fire season to date, de­
spite this summer’s ext—zm'* dry
weather.
Of the 28 fires to date. 16 have
been lightning caused, 5
have
been smoker caused,
1 was a
campfire left unattended. 1 was
attributed to debris burinig, 1 to
a house fire, and the balance tra­
ceable to a direct cause. The to­
tal acreage burned has been on
l.v 4 1-2 acres.
