The Ladies Aid held

nicnic at Rivermill Park

Thursday evening with a pot
luck dinner.
There were 17
present: some came after din­
ner.
Mrs. Clara Lofton is quite ill
at this writing. She has arthri­
tis and it gives her a bad time
occasionally.
Mrs. Ruth Piatt is still con­
fined to tht hospital but
her
ankle is getting along nicely.
She had it broken is a car acci­
dent over a week ago.

success Nearly 50 members of
Rebekahs and Odd Fellows at­
tended. Coffee and ice cream
were served by the Odd Fell­
ows following the potluck din­
ner. A number of card games
were in progress during
the
afternoon.
Mrs. Currin drove to Oregon
City Monday to visit Mr. Cur­
rin as she does every week.She
found him feeling good for him

nia visiting them Sunday.
