makes it
......... possible for the
handyman — or
handywoman — to easily tile their kitchen, bath or powder room.
In three easy steps, the homeowner first applies the new adhesive
to any hard surface wall. The 414 by 414 inch tiles are then set
in place with special self-spacers insuring just the right space
between each tile. Any surplus adhesive is easily wiped off.
Once the tile has set, a special grout is applied with a trowel or
sponge. The excess grout is wiped off with a sponge or squeegee,
which forces the grout into the joints, making a tight, water-proof
surface. When this grout, a special combination of waterproof ce
ment, has set up, the joints are readily struck by running a tooth
brush handle between the tiles.
The result is a sparkling new ceramic-tiled kitchen, bath or
powder room that glistens with the lustre imparted only by real
ceramic tile and which will be easy to clean and will give years and
years o f service.
