Mayor Proclaims Army Reserve Recruiting Month Estacada’s Press CLACKAMA WHEREAS, the United States Army Reserve proposes to activate Company D, 1st Battalion, 413th Infantry Reg iment of the 104th Infantry Division in the Estacada-Sandy area, and Volume No. 53 WHEREAS such a unit would not only be beneficial to the community itself by making a Community Center available to our citizens but would also be of great help to the 17- 18 1-2 year old youths of the community by instilling in them the principles o leader ship and patriotism and fur ther aiding them by develop ing their technical and voca tional skills; and WHEREAS Company D will also offer our veterans the op portunity to maintain their military skills and thus aid in our country’s defense; and WHEREAS the city council o f the city of Estacada has un animously approved of the pro posal of the U. S.
