J/2 cup dry bread crumbs
' i cup minced green pepper 3 tablespoons Nucoa marg­
arine
1 1 cup finely minced onion
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
V\ teaspoon salt
Vs cup water
>8 teaspoon pepper
M ix thoroughly tuna fish, Real Mayonnaise, crumbs, green
pepper, onion, salt, pepper. Form into firm balls 1 inch in
diameter. Combine egg and 2 tablespons water. Roll balls
in flour, then in egg and then crumbs. M elt Nucoa in 10-
inch skillet; saute balls slowly until golden brown. Blend
tomato sauce, water; pour around balls; simmer 10 min­
utes uncovered. Yield: 16 to 20 balls.
*Or substitute 1 cup finely chopped canned chicken, tur­
key, corned beef, shrimp or flaked crabmeat.
