As the modem pony express is a
civic venture sponsored by Timber-
line lodge and the Oswego hunt club
near Portland no charge is being
made for arranging to have letters
taken over the run. Collectors need
only write to Myron McCamley, 2135
N. Albert, Portland, Oregon enclos­
ing a self-addressed envelope bearing
a three cent stamp.
Five cowboy riding teams from Or*
gon and southern Washngton have
entered the race. Each team consists
o f seven horses and seven riders who
w ill relay the mail sacks on the run
at points ten miles apart. Included
in the entries are the sh eriff’s moun­
ted posse o f Klickttai county, Wash.)
and Clackamas county, Oregon. Sher.
