B. R. Davis
Funeral services for Brighton R .
Davis, 67, who died at his home on
Gresham, route 2 were held Thurs­
day afternoon o f last week at thq
Carroll Funeral home in Gresham,
interment being made at the Forest
Lawn cemetery.
Mr. Davis has been a resident of
this community for 29 years. On
June 1, 1912 he was married to Mrs.
Mattie Harris at Lents and they re­
sided for bw» years in Portland be­
fore moving to the Anderson Station
community.
Surviving reatives are his widow,
two daughters Mrs. Margaret Mat­
thews and Miss Madeline Davis of
Los Angeles, three step sons, Frank
of Seattle, Theodore o f Tacoma, and
Charles Davis o f Gresham, four step­
daughters Mrs. Alma Cruse and Mrs.
Dessie Gilpin o f Portland, Mrs. Eliz­
abeth McConhey o f San Francisco
and Mrs. Aime Bozarth o f D onegal
Oregon.
