This is th e only organization of the kind in the world. These Chinese girl m usicians w ere developed in Portland, under the personal direc tion of Chuck W hitehead, and arc said to be the equal of any girl band in the country. They not only play saxophones, trom bone, banjo, drum s and o th er in strum ents but sing and en te rtain on the stage, as well. T heir program s include the latest popular musical hits and th eir renditions are snappy and highly am using. The Chinese girl orchestra appears under th e m anagem ent o f Rube Shaw, who has booked them fo r the ¡ coming season over th e E astern vau deville circuits as a headline act.
