Hunt, chief engineer o f the USED C A R S — Big values in used cars. Price and terms to suit you. Chevrolet Motor company, who de Hessel Implement Co., Gresham. 21 signed the new six, has a wide reputa tion in the automotive world. He has been connected with the Chevrolet fo r fiv e years, and fo r four o f them he has worked continuously on the new six cylinder motor. In that time one hundred differen t designs wen built and tested, before the present job was finally approved. Probably no engineer ever worked with greater resources fo r experim entation than did Hunt and the re sults he obtained will be watched with the deepest interest by the motor trade. The manner in which the Chevrolet organization has swung into produc tion on the new six is regarded as a truly remarkable industrial achieve ment. The sweeping changes in the new six from the four cylinder mode! which preceded it involved factory re-equipping with new tools, dies and machinery to an extent and at a cost hard fo r the average motorist to conceive. To be able to place the new six cylinder models in the hands o f all dealers in the b rief space o f time that has elapsed since the fours were being produced in enormous volume is good evidence o f the surprising ef ficiency the Chevrolet factory organ ization has built up under the su pervision o f VV.
