Kay, 70, w ife o f O. T. Kay, died here
O cto b er 4, w here Mr. and Mrs. Kay
hud been m aking th e ir tem p o rary
hom e. Mrs. K ay was born in C raig
county, Va., and was m arried in 1881
and she and h e r husband lived in V ir­
g in ia until 1888, w hen th ey moved to
O regon. She is survived by h e r h u s­
band, tw o sons and th re e d a u g h te rs:

W ash., Mrs. C. L. S ta u d in g e r o f Mo-
lalla. Mrs. Ja m es H u n t of V ernonia,
and Mrs. Ja m es C o u rte r o f V iola;
