The leaves often drop in early summer, following this condition new leaves appear or the tree dies. In any event the peach crop is diminished and the trees are injured. This disease is controlled by spray­ ing with Bordeaux mixture 6-6-50 dilution in December or January. Lime sulphur spray sometimes con­ trols peach loaf curl but it is not de­ pendable.
