They plan to return Saturday, loaded with deer. As Bill Alt and wife went home from the grange dance Saturday night they almost ran into a wrecked car on the bend near Cherryville, which was a new Ford, turned over. The woman riding in the wrecked car had a bad cut on her hand. Mr. and Mrs. Alt helped push the car back on its wheels, but it was badly damaged. Among recent Cherryville folks visiting Sandy were Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Dixon and Dorothy, Mrs. Minnie Douglass, Mr. and Mrs. A. Beden- stein, and Mr. Williams, the packes for the Dahl camp, and Mrs. Eva McDougall, Cherryville teacher. Maronay says Eastern Oregon shipments are coming through Sandy by night and the drivers stop to eat here when he is open.
