Not long ago a blind man stood on the corner of a
busy thoroughfare waiting to be taken to the other
side of the street. Many people passed but paid no
heed to the lonely figure tapping the sidewalk with
his cane. At length a man stepped to his side and
with a kindly “Let me help you, brother,” escorted
the afflicted one to safety. The profound thanks he
received were a rich reward for the small service
which meant so much to the blind man.
