Freshm en have been m aking pedestals, bread boards, tow el racks etc. Sandy girls were simply too slow fo r Canby girls last week in the county cham pionship, and lost the gam e 21 to 15. However Sandy played well all season and Coach W illiams may be proud of th eir work. P reparations fo r the annual field day m eet will soon begin the various grade school districts. This is always a big com m unity day a t the high school. Love pirates of Hawaiia, the glee club operetta, dated fo r M arch 30, will be an event to anticipate, also the ju n io r class play, the date of which will soon be announced. Baseball practice is com ing along nicely and th ere is prospects of San dy having a splendid team . K enneth P roctor and Fred Ju n k er are home from Oregon U to spend the spring vacation week.
