Fruit-Bread Pudding
Tablespoon butter, 3 eggs, half cup sugar, cup bread
crumbs, 1-4 cup milk, 1-4 cup raisins, 1-4 cup cur­
rants, 1-4 cup finely cut citron, 1-4 cup chopped al­
monds. Soak crumbs in hot milk, cream, butter and
sugar, add eggs, well beaten, soak crumbs and fruit.
Steam in buttered mold one hour or bake in oven,
putting mold in pan o f water. Serves four.
