John Gantenbein, who lives on
Wallula Heights, had the misfortune
Saturday night to have his chicken
coop raided, the thief making way
with three valuable full blooded Buff
Orpingtons and a white Leghorn.
Evidently they wished them for eat
ing purposes, as the four heads were
found next morning nearby. The
family heard a noise after the lights
were extinguished, but as they had
lived here for years and their chick
ens had never been molested, they
thought nothing o f the matter until
next morning.— Gresham Outlook.
