This interest has been evi
denced by both the public and the

large automobile concern toward
the solution of the so-called used
car problem.
Under the plan which is super
vised by the company, all authoriz
ed Ford dealers place a guarantee
upon used Ford cars sold by them,
thus insuring to the purchaser satis
factory mechanical operation of the
cars under ordinary driving condi
tion
Reports received during the week

the Ford Motor Company in De
troit, indicate two things— greater
buyer confidence on the part of the
public and ageneral feeling among
Ford dealers that the plan is cer
tain to promote customer satisfac
tion.

based upon expressions from Ford

public reaction toward the plan as
