Then the ladies made a short visit to the mill and had their pictures taken. Mr. and Mrs. James Denning were seen over this way Satur­ day afternoon. They were call­ ing at the homes of Will and Roy Douglass. Guy Wilcox and family have moved over to H. S. Gibson’s place and will stay with him for a while. Last Saturday evening Eagle Creek grange met at the hall and had a short business meet­ ing. Owing to illness the candi­ dates were not present and so there was no initiation. There was quite a good program al­ though the lecturer was absent. Some yisitors from George were present. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Haley are the proud parents of a fine, bouncing baby boy, who weighs nine pounds and was born Satur­ day, June 26. Mother and son are doing nicely. Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Gibson, Mrs. Will Douglass, Mrs. W. H. Douglass and Miss Florence Douglass were calling on Mrs. Marie Gibson, who has been ill, Saturday afternoon. They found her improving and able to sit up. Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Gibson and Miss Alice Udell were calling at the home of H. S. Gibson, Mon­ day evening. Mr. Paddison and son Fred hauled Borne wood for the school the first part of the week.
