Mr. and Mrs. Jess Douglass
of Boyd, Oregon, were down on
a short visit recently and gave
a party up at their home on last
Thursday n ig h t. Everybody
had such an excellent time that
Mr. and Mrs. Douglass were per
suaded to extend their visit a
few days longer and give an
other party. So they gave a
dance last Saturday night with
a much larger attendance than
on Tuesday night—there being
eighty or ninety present. Ed.
Hunt and John Irwin of Esta
cada furnished the music. A
delicious supper consisting of
chicken, chicken sandwiches, po
tato salad, cake, pie and coffee
was served at midnight, after
which the gusts departed, tired
but happy.
Miss Mildred Douglass was
visiting with the home folks on
Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Woodle
made a trip to Troutdale last
Friday evening.
