HIGH SCHOOL NOTES $ f
The following classes have
completed their semester’ s work:
General Science, American His­
tory and Geometry.
Four of thej High School stu­
dents are to sine at the show
Saturday night. They are Waldo
De Moy, Melha Harmon, Minerva
Ritchie, and Redfield Pavne.
The cooking class will cele
brate Christmas by serving a
chicken dinner, Thursday, De­
cember 21.
The Ancient History class is
drawing large sized maps of
Greece and 1 Jrete,
The American History class is
giving reports on current history
this week.
Mr. Einarson, being ill, was
unable to attend school Decem­
ber 18 and 19.
The High School will have a
Christmas program Friday, De­
cember 22. The main feature of
the program is a talk by Mr. De
Moy, on the “ Spirit of Christ­
mas.”

High Schooi pupils drew names
to determine the person for whom
they are to bring a present.

cember 22. They have begun
decorating their rooms for the
event.
The First Grade pupils have
worked out the Christmas storjT
on the sand tables. They are
dramatizing the story, “ Littie
W olf’s Christmas G ift,”

week.
Nine o f the First Grade have
kept out of the “ paint barrel”
so far.
Allan Baird of Zurich, Mon­
tana, has enrolled in the First
Grade.
The Second Grade pupils have
used their sand to ble in working
out the story of “ The Animals
Christmas Tree.”
Grant Robley has returned to
school after a week’ s absence on
account of illness.
The Estacada grade school was
first in Clackamas county to sell
their total amount of Christmas
stamps.
The fourth to the eighth, in­
clusive, will take county test«
Thursday, Dec. 21. in arithmetic
and spelling.
