EASTERN CLACKAMAS NEWS
OBITUARY
Henry Martin Looney was born
in Virginia. August 20, 1037, and
came to Oregon 40 years ago,
settling in Currinsville, where he
lived until a few months ago.
He was a civil war veteran hav­
ing served in the Union armv.
He died at the I ome of his son
K. A. Looney, at Salem, January
20th, aged 83 years, 5 months.
The body was shipped to Currins­
ville, last Thursday to the home
of his granddaughter, Mrs. J. H.
Looney. The funeral services
were held in the M E. Church at
2 o’clock, Friday afternoon, with
interment in Lone Oak cemetery.
Besides his son. R. A. Looney,
he leaves eight grandchildren and
six great grandchildren, also one
brother and three sisters who
