ED. BONER’S
The director for the Red Cross
drive in this vicinity is Mrs, E.
W. Bartlett. In case she cannot
be found by those wishing to
give, subscriptions can be left at
the library rooms and paid to
Mrs. Nina Ecker, the librarian,
who will give buttons to those
entitled to them. Nearly all the
money raised in this county for
the Red Cross will be expended
within its borders in relief for the
poor.

T h e P eo p le’s Store
The partition at the rear of The
People's Store has been removed
extending the floor some sixteen
feet. This additional space was
badlv needed as the immense
stock of goods could not properly
be displayed and caused incon
venience to both the management
and their customers.
